Mild-mannered Jim Smith has an alias. To the world he’s known as Draco Dane, author of the most popular horror novels on the bestseller list. But Jim’s tired of cooking up monsters and scaring readers. He wants to be himself and write what interests him - like the history of fire engines. This terrifies his teenage daughters Hannah and Madison into hatching a plot to get Jim back in the mood to write more horror. Hannah insists her birthday slumber party with four friends be held at Sunnyside Inn, perched high on a cliff at the edge of the sea. Bringing along enough props for a horror movie, the girls plan to scare their dad stiff by introducing him to the ghost of a hatchet murderess. What they don’t realize is that a psychic has already found a ghost at Sunnyside - much to the dismay of the owner and the nervous old coot who wants to buy the place. Soon, ghosts begin appearing everywhere and Jim seems to be the only one who’s not scared stiff. Plenty of silly characters, loads of action - a great family show!
