I set out to write my own adaptation of The Three Musketeers. In one of those idle moments--writer's block--I began to wonder what the denizens of Paris did when The Three Musketeers were otherwise engaged. Someone had to fill in, right? By liberating myself from the original story, this one was loads of fun to write, and even more fun to stage. Lots of roles big and small and room for plenty of extras.
