SYNOPSIS: It’s everyone’s fantasy: you don’t like the play you’re supposed to perform, so you make up something else on the spot! Only in this case it doesn’t come out quite right. Instead of their scheduled performance, we find that one character wants to play violin and be a gymnast-at the same time, while the other is lamenting that her mother left her family and took the only spoon in the house. This might not seem like such a big deal to you, but you probably have more than one spoon. While the drama teacher tries unsuccessfully to turn this show around, Mom shows up on stage-with the spoon. Combine this with a rousing performance of Hey Diddle Diddle and you’ll be over the moon for this short piece!
