My Dog Ate the Constitution utilizes songs, games, and humor to teach students curriculum-based U.S. History and civic responsibility in a memorable and interactive manner.

When MY DOG ATE THE CONSTITUTION premiered at the historic Victoria Theatre, 3000 elementary-school students jumped out of their seats, shouted, clapped, laughed and learned. In this age of standardized testing and crowded classrooms, educators, parents, and our community are faced with the challenge of teaching our children about U.S. History and the Constitution. Even more challenging is to spark a genuine interest in our government. The fast-paced comedy, kooky characters, and interactive learning games in MY DOG ATE THE CONSTITUTION engage audience members and performers alike. What more, the casting is so flexible and the technical elements so minimal, that MY DOG ATE THE CONSTITUTION can be performed by schools, theatres, and touring companies of any size with any budget and any number and age of actors.
