Coming up with character names can be a challenge, so when I started writing this play, I named everyone generically. Mrs. Hostess was throwing a party, Mrs. Corpse was...well... found in a very sorry state, Miss Cleanup has a specific job to do. Then I decided, why not just run with it? As a bonus, your audience won't have a problem keeping track of who's who. We're not sure how Mr. Hostess feels about his name, but as long as he didn't do it... or...did he? If he didn't, who did?
