SYNOPSIS: A good title is important in getting you to look at a play-but what happens to the performer when the title is longer than the play itself? Our speaker is bucking the trend of plays with longer and longer titles by picking a speech for competition with the shortest title he can find: Red. Along with finding a rhinoceros in the elevator, an elephant in the room, and reciting the jingle for Bunny Bread, you’ll find a great opportunity for a talented actor to portray many different voices and make an audience laugh out loud.

One of the fun parts in writing this piece was coming up with the long (and short) titles of the various monologues mentioned by the speaker. I thought it would be fun to bring all those short plays to life so I wrote comic pieces based on all those titles. Please check the Brooklyn catalogue or website for these monologues. The titles have remained the same other than Grime Doesn't Pay which is about the pressure washing story. Thank you for making Long Titles are Great such a success!
