SYNOPSIS: Mom's freshly baked pie has gone missing. To ferret out the culprit, she deputizes her son, Tom, under his pseudonym, Inspector Findout. In the course of the investigation, he examines all the usual suspects, which includes four uncooperative sisters.

"I have done this pay on three differnece occasions at thre different junior highs. It works great. I have always paired it with a second play, and this one always turns out to be the more popular of the two. My two favorite 'scenes' are the ones with Tom ('Inspector Findout') and his younger sister, Erin, and the one with 'Mom.' The former just sparkles, when the dialogue is snappy. The latter, involves a delightful battle of wits between a canny mother who does not miss a trick, and her bright. imaginative son. The short scene with 'Gipper,' the dog, is also really cute. There isn't a weak scene in the play."
