SYNOPSIS: When high school sophomore Peggy Webster is lonely over the summer, her parents have a brilliant answer: ship her off to drama camp! Though Peggy has no interest in acting, she suddenly finds herself surrounded by drama teens who all consider themselves to be the next great actor. The camp director insists that Peggy audition for a part in the camp’s summer production of Comrade Cinderella. Unbeknownst to the campers, the director’s greedy relatives are trying to shut down the camp so they can take over. As sabotage, they pepper the food, torment the campers with poison ivy, and resurrect the legend of the Hockey Mask Phantom. The real drama at drama camp lies behind the scenes, as Peggy and her “comrades” go off-book to ferret out the culprits and keep the box office open.
