SYNOPSIS: What if you found yourself in a class where the answers make no sense at all? Where eight times four equals China and “32” is a place to live. How is it that no one else in school thinks this is crazy? Is Linda in the wrong class, or has she just not been paying attention for her entire life? As things progress, more and more words take on bizarre meanings, and soon she realizes that she has to turn the tables on multiplication. Should she beat ‘em... or join ’em?

"This play is easily staged with a few desks as the main props. Our students used this for a HS Forensics play and it was a hit. The satire of how our education looks from the outside is fantastic and there is a real lesson to be learned."
- Crandon Drama
Jerry Rabushka grew up in the land of 18, where he still lives happily despite everyone else’s advice to the contrary. A victim of bad math instruction throughout his formative years, he found his solace in writing and music when things didn’t add up. Now he writes plays about multiplication because he wants to make the most of the “times” he has. Jerry is also an actor, pianist, singer, songwriter, novelist, and magazine editor.
