SYNOPSIS: Can you tell the difference between shrieks of laughter and screams of fright? Phobia Factory gives teen actors and audiences plenty of slap-happy, action-packed opportunities to experience both! Four students visit a prototype “Phobia Factory” at the local mall. Using a virtual reality simulation, the teens have a chance to face their fears in a supposedly safe environment . . . until something goes hysterically wrong with the program! With a gender flexible cast, almost entirely bare stage set and simple props, Phobia Factory is easy and economical to produce.
