SYNOPSIS: We begin this tour-de-force with several typical two-person scenes: a waiter and a patron, a marriage proposal, a doctor's visit, two people building a complicated machine. As the play progresses, though, the scenes get mixed. We hear the same lines, but in new contexts, making for an often hilarious, always interesting exploration of the adage, "It's not what you say, but how you say it that counts."

Doubling and tripling easily possible; genders flexible. A description of each character is unwieldy, to say the least, because each character's function shifts radically from scene to scene.
