SYNOPSIS: A young girl is kidnapped. Or did she run away or just disappear? As the layers of the story are peeled away, through the perspectives of her family, neighbors, and a troubled girl obsessed with the case, the truth is revealed. Golden Gone holds up mirror for us to examine our own behavior and to explore the impact of revenge and reinvention, though social media, YouTube videos and the power of delusion.
