SYNOPSIS: A compelling story of survival and true resilience, as Kai, now in her mid-20s, confronts the memories of abusive childhood and teen years, a traumatic brain injury from a car accident, and a seemingly insurmountable new hurdle. Two younger versions of Kai (Kat, 19, and Katrina, 14) help tell the story, along with her brother, boyfriend, and others. With brutal honesty, Kai moves through the moments of her past and present to find the possibility of a happy ending.
