"Scott Haan’s crisply written Trapped, an amusing examination of two strangers stuck in a hotel elevator. Pell’s character here is Andy, and the young woman he shares the elevator with is Rachel, played by Michelle Mercier. The tension and anxiety of being thrust together in such claustrophobic confines is fertile territory for the sarcastic banter that Pell and Mercier toss back and forth with the finesse of a tennis match. And like several of the other pieces, this one reveals one surprise after another under Tabatha Carsus’ deft direction."
