SYNOPSIS: Moments is a collection of one-acts for young women. These "shorts," each 3-5 minutes in length, are valuable tools for scene study, yet work well both individually or combined for performance. Moments offers two-person playlets written in the language that young people speak, in the most volatile of times, their teen years. Plays include: 1. Too Perfect - Stacey and Felicia, egotistical teens, both lose the vote for Student Council President to a "Plain Jane." 2. Best Friends on Moving Day - Zoie and Katrin find ways to maintain their "best friends" status despite custody battles, distance, and college plans. 3. The Notorious Haunted Taylor House - Al (Alice) Lowery and her friend Torie break into a house, which supposedly has been long haunted by a ghost. 4. A Friendship Renewed - A rift in Jennifer and Hillary's relationship becomes even more uncomfortable when they are unwillingly paired together for an English class project. 5. Taking Sides - The most difficult detail resulting from Rachel and Beth's parents' divorce is whether one parent should raise the sisters or if they, too, should be split up. 6. Mystery Baby - Samantha convinces Kelly to view the sunrise from the bleachers of the football field. The last thing they ever expect to find is an abandoned infant!
