SYNOPSIS: This is a play about a duck who gets drunk on prune juice and eats pants. Seriously. You read it right. The duck gets drunk on prune juice and eats pants. The characters in the play have a hard time believing it themselves… at least until somebody’s pants get eaten. And somehow, it gets even stranger than that. Because the owner of those eaten pants doesn’t just want revenge, he wants to call himself the “Pants Avenger.” Only, there’s this other guy whose pants got eaten, and he wants to be the “Pants Avenger,” too. But the duck gets sick off of the pants he ate, so obviously they were self-avenging pants. (It’s okay if you need to read that last part again. Go right ahead.) Thankfully, the duck seems to learn a lesson at this point, but unfortunately for him, the play is only about two-thirds of the way over, and things are going to get even freakier in the home stretch. The lawyer is the first of his new problems. The army of pants is the second. If you like your plays weird, funny, and a little bit dark, The Duck Who Ate Pants was written just for you.
