SYNOPSIS: A fresh take on the classic story of Cinderella, this fun and funny full-length play centers around the teens at Brothers Grimm Memorial High School. Handsome Homecoming King, Noble Crown, is still missing his mother, who passed away the year before. Noble’s father, Principal Crown, attempts to help Noble move on with his life and ends up having to practice what he preaches. Meanwhile, pretty but put-upon Ella Sinders secretly pines for Noble. Her dreams of being with him at the Homecoming Dance are cruelly squashed by the snobby Stepford Sisters, Delia and Daisy. Ella enlists the aid of flamboyant Drama Teacher, Miss Faye, who provides a costume which will “enchant” Noble. As everyone prepares for the dance, Daisy tries to keep her romance with Harley Quinn a secret from Delia, at the same time attempting to bring Delia closer to Harley’s friend, Duke. Eventually all the endearing characters are paired off in this charming romantic comedy … and Ella learns a lesson about being herself.
