Customer Comments:
By Deb Scramlin - Director - Bishop Kelley School
Our Bishop Kelley Drama Club put on this play November 17th. The audience ( mostly parents and grandparents) loved it and the kids had a great time presenting it.
By Marc Burton - Theatre Director - Terry Parker HS, Jacksonville, FL
This clever comedy flows at a stunning pace, and our audience was laughing so hard, their sides were hurting after the show. Mr. Austin's writing never lets down, and the entire audience gets swept up into the fun. The team's main nemesis is a 90 lb. female linebacker! With clever cheers, witty dialogue, slapstick comedy, audience interaction, and both sophisticated and silly humor, BETTER FOOTBALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY is a wildly entertaining show that captures the hearts of teens and adults alike.
By Jes C. Brant - Student - Holyoke High School Holyoke, CO
After two acts of great verbal & physical comedy, the audience left the theater still laughing and pondering one final twist.
By James Rankin - Montgomery County News
...a clever, action-packed show that's full of surprises and wonderful characters. The play was superbly crafted, wildly funny, and surprisingly addictive.
By Diane Kaste - Drama Dierctor - Kingwood High School, Kingwood, TX
Extremely entertaining play. BETTER FOOTBALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY is very easy for a school with one director. With this production, we were able to pull all aspects of the play together for an uproarious good time. The multitude of clever characters were appropriate for the high school kids to wrap their brains around.
By Christina Sikora - Theatre Director - Solomon High School, Solomon, KS
Members of the audience were mesmerized by the twists and turns of the plot, as well as the hilarious interaction with the audience itself. Never before have I directed such a zany cast of characters. The challenges and rewards of BETTER FOOTBALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY can not be beat. We loved every minute of this fabulous show!
By Darlene Yasick - Theater Director - Hopkins High School, Hopkins, Michigan
I've been a theater director for over 20 years, and BETTER FOOTBALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY is both the funniest and easiest show I've ever produced. We literally laughed our way through the first 4 weeks of rehearsal.
By Jennifer Parker - Drama Director - Blackduck High School, Blackduck, MN
I read a bunch of scripts but could not stop laughing when I read BETTER FOOTBALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY. It was so much fun for everyone...the cast, the crew, the audience. With room for significant extras (like extra cheerleaders helping perform cheers, extra players, fans, etc.) this play can accommodate any size cast. Our school used the chicken-sponsored commercials and actually performed it as a dinner theater.
By Bryan Norton - Principal - Scott Hills High School, Reagan, TN
BETTER FOOTBALL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL CHEMISTRY is one of the best plays our school has ever done. I'd like to put this on a rotation and produce it every four years.
Chicaloo Chicken cheerleaders ("The Fighting Chicks") Laura, Hannah, and Cheryl have the dumbest boyfriends on campus. But when a quirky science experiment transforms these dim-witted football jocks into certified geniuses, the lowly Chickens become big-time winners, and the entire school quickly spirals out of control. Jordan J. Jawbreaker calls the hilarious play-by-play action for TFC (That's "Tennessee Fried Chicken") Television, as coaches Murphy and Tanner seek to retain some sanity in what could be the Chicaloo Chickens' first ever football championship.
