A great challenge for any group of actors, but our students pulled it off beautifully. I felt the playwright did an excellent job of putting across the thoughts and feelings everyone across the nation had on that day. It gave us the chance to portray that to the audiences we performed for. My kids usually hate doing dramas...they were happy to perform this one.
By Brianne Magill - Director - Central High School
This is a strong emotional piece that works well for a readers theatre. My students were all babies or not even born yet when September 11th occurred, so they have appreciated learning about the event and have gained a new respect and understanding for that day in history.
By Marla Wood - Director - Hickory High School
This show was so powerful! We performed it at our Conference Tournament and qualified for Regionals!
By Carolyn McGovern, Drama Coach, St. Mary's High School, Lynn, MA
Such a powerful script! It’s a show that’s neither light nor easy…it’s a true challenge. My actors have embraced this powerful and poignant show, as did the audience.
By Lora Voegele, Drama/English Glen Ullin Public School, Glen Ullin, ND
Super competition piece for a one-act play…the audience was captivated as they watched. A wonderful, wonderful play.
9/11 changed the world - but how did it change you? Watch the events unfold from the point of view of everyday people in a high school: the teachers, the students, the counselors and the parents. They are people who weren't in New York or Washington on that day, but were drastically affected, just like you, and each has a story to tell.
