William L. Bowman Jr. is an author and playwright living in Ottumwa, Iowa. Besides writing plays, William has been involved in theatre since childhood. He is a professional magician and has been a professional clown and mime. William, along with his wife, Sally Sharp has taught theatre classes and workshops and they were the co-directors of a children's theatre project for several years.

 
William has acted, directed, done all areas of stage tech, stage pyrotechnics, and fight choreography. He strongly believes that anyone who wants to be a playwright should have been involved in all areas of theatre in order to understand what works in real life.

 
William currently has four books self-published and has had magazine and journal articles on many topics from martial arts to magic to physical therapy and even Dungeons and Dragons published.
