Samara Siskind

Samara SiskindSamara Siskind is a Florida based actress and playwright. Her full-length play, Fell in Love with a Girl was critically acclaimed and nominated for a Carbonell Award as well as a South Florida Curtain Up Award for Best New Work. In addition to Fell in Love with a Girl, Ms. Siskind has written three other full-length plays, as well as numerous children's plays. Ms. Siskind's work has also been published in Plays, the Drama Magazine for Young People, Volume II of Young Women's Monologues from Contemporary Plays, and is featured in the Vintage Books Anthology Shorter, Faster Funnier: Comic Plays and Monologues, edited by Eric Lane and Nina Shengold. Ms. Siskind holds a BFA in Regional Theatre from Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts.
