Matt Buchanan

Matt Buchanan is a New England-based playwright and composer specializing in \r\ntheatre with and for young people. His plays and musicals have been performed across the United States and in several foreign countries. Produced works include Prince Ugly, Sleeping Walter, Ernie's Place, The Bird, Witnesses, Puck and the Players (a take on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream) and adaptations of George MacDonald's The Day Boy and the Night Girl and Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. He is also an accomplished stage and music director, as well as a performing musician. Matt has a BA in Music from Harvard College and an MFA in Child Drama from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves as Theater Director at St. Luke's School in Connecticut.
