Krystle Henninger

Krystle got her inspiration to start writing plays while she was the manager of the Harrisonburg High School forensics team, which is coached by her fellow Brooklyn author Bradley Walton. She has been stage manager for the original productions of several Brooklyn scripts, including The Bloody Attack of the Evil, Demonic Giraffe Puppet Hollow Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here: The Story of a Prom Babble The Librarian and the Jock Shopping For My Wife and Country Folk, Lycanthropes and Extraterrestrial Entities. She was also in the original cast of Hollow. Krystle graduated with her MFA in Stage Management from Columbia University in New York and her BA in Songwriting from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. For her senior project she co-directed, stage managed, sound designed, music directed, and acted in her first full-length original musical, Hold please...I'm harvesting pineapple. She released her debut album, Long Road Home, in 2015 and her EP, Swallowed Up In Blue, in 2013. Krystle currently resides in New York and has had developmental readings of her scripts, The Missing Piece of Me and One Step at a Time.
