Jill Pertler is a syndicated newspaper columnist by day and a playwright by night – or something like that. She’s been writing professionally for over two decades and penned her first play, in part, to accommodate a large cast at the high school in her hometown. This first play lead to another, and so on. Her scripts are filled with quirky, one-of-a kind characters and intertwining storylines that allow numerous actors to shine on stage. Her syndicated newspaper column, “Slices of Life,” is published in over 100 newspapers across the U.S.
