Jacquelyn Priskorn has been writing plays since she took her first class with playwright Kitty Dubin in 1997. She has had several plays produced since that first class, including a screenplay, Love and Plutonium, which is currently available on DVD and has won the best feature film award at the Twisted Spine Film Festival as well as Filmrunner.net's Filmrunner's Choice award. Her short play, THE GUEST ROOM, adapted for the screen won Detroit Shorts Festival's Best Michigan Short Film 2009. Her play, Love Shackles was published by Original Works as part of Quick Painless: Vol. 1. An actress, Ms. Priskorn began writing mostly to create more roles and audition material for herself and women like her.
