Gary CohenGary P. Cohen (RELUCTANT DRAGON book & lyrics) is the Producing Director of New Jersey's Plays-in-the-Park, one of the largest community theaters in the United States. During his 20 year tenure, Gary has directed over 50 plays and musicals, designed sets and lighting, and produced the last 18 seasons. As an author, he has written two books on theater: The Complete Guide to Community Theater and the Theater Director's Primer, both published by Heinemann Drama. As a playwright, in addiiton to The Reluctant Dragon, Gary has co-authored FRANKENSTEIN with Mark Baron and Jeff Jackson (www.frankensteinthemusical.com), which opened Off-B'way at the 37 Arts Theater on November 1st, 2007, prior to a National Tour. A former William Morris agent, Gary has had a fulfilling life in the theater, and looks forward to writing more children's musicals, a genre that provides lots of pleasure!
