| | Craig J. Clark is a South Jersey playwright whose first play, Das Box has gone on to win a number of awards, including Best Play and Best Writer at the Surflight Theater Drama Festival.\r\n\r\nCraig's plays have included Dead, Dying, or European (in the Glue Performance Series, December 1997), Said and Done (produced during the September 1998 Philadelphia Fringe Festival and chosen by the Desert Players Theater of Tucson, Arizona, for its Millennium One-Act Play Festival in January 2000), By the Book (in the March 1999 Glue) and Platform Shoes (performed by the City Theater Company of Wilmington, Delaware, in July 1999), and Wait and Sea (in December 1999's Itmas at the Brick Playhouse).\r\n\r\nCraig is a participating playwright member of the Brick Playhouse, where many of his one-minute plays were featured in both editions of the Night of 1000 Plays. He has also written numerous comedy sketches, poems, short stories and a science fiction novel. The Secessionist, a screenplay he co-wrote with Kevin Pease, was a finalist for the 1999 Square Magazine Screenwriting Award. He currently lives in Haddonfield, New Jersey. | |
