First Place winner for creative writing at Santa Barbara Writer's Conference, Colette has had over 15 plays and adaptations produced around the world including First to the Egg (Grand Prize winner Urban Insider, Semifinalist Turnip Festival), Ruby Slipper (Semi finalist ATC Theatre Fest), Shoshannah's Shabbat (Finalist at The Actors Theatre of Louisville Short Play Festival), Bridesmaid #3 (Semifinalist Riant Play Festival and Strawberry Theatre Fest), Serial Killer Barbie (Brooklyn Publishers). Other produced plays include Soap Boxing, Deconstructing the Torah, Field Hockey Legs, Looking for Atticus Finch, Trick or Treat, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Ellipses, and her modern adaptation of Iphigenia at Aulis. Sister Cities is a finalist for the Eugene O'Neil Writer's Conference and has been produced to critical acclaim in NYC, Los Angeles, Miami and was the hit of the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008. | |
