Celeste Bonfanti

Celeste BonfantiCeleste Bonfanti has been actively involved in community theatre, both in New Jersey and Northern England, for twenty-five years, performing, directing and interpreting performances for deaf audience members. Celeste has co-founded three youth theatres and her plays have been performed by schools, youth and community groups in both the US and UK. Acting credits include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Helene Hanff in 84 Charing Cross Road, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, Ophelia in Hamlet, Maudie Atkinson in To Kill A Mockingbird and Eleanor of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter. She is currently a teacher of the deaf in Gloucester County, New Jersey, and is an adjunct instructor of the Deaf Studies department at Burlington County College. Celeste has developed and presented a training course for elementary teachers entitled Using Drama Across the Curriculum.
