Beverly Bremers ComposerLyricistPlaywright - Beverly has written the music, lyrics and/or the book, for 5 stage musicals which were produced in Los Angeles and San Diego: Gift of the Magi: The Musical, at the Hillcrest Center For the Arts in Thousand Oaks, CA O'Marys, produced twice in San Diego at the Hahn Cosmopolitan Theatre and Diversionary Theatre. The Glitter Palace had the distinction of running for over 9 months at the Playbill Theatre in Hollywood, starring such notables as Marcia Wallace, Orson Bean, and Lu Leonard Have A Jewish Christmas at the Victory Theatre in Burbank and Born A Unicorn, at the Inner City Cultural Center in Los Angeles directed by Ted Lange (Love Boat). Beverly received a platinum record for writing the energetic song, Mousercise for Disney, which became the theme for the long-running show on the Disney Channel, a show at Disneyland, and a video. She has also enjoyed chart success with several of her songs in the U.S. and Europe, including Morning Music and the theme from the film, Hopscotch. Additionally, Beverly has been the recipient of several awards such as the L.A. Weekly Best Musical for The Glitter Palace, the AGLA Image Award for The Glitter Palace, The American Song Festival Best Song, and the Seoul International Song Festival Best Song, where she represented the United States as performer and composer. Beverly is also a known recording artist and actor, having starred on Broadway in Hair and The Me Nobody Knows, starred in the Los Angeles productions of The Rocky Horror Show and Menopause the Musical and hit the charts with the million-selling, Dont Say You Dont Remember. She has also appeared on numerous TV shows and films, as well as commercials, industrials, clubs, and concerts.
