Arthur Kraft

Arthur Kraft's comedy, "The Switch," opened in Anaheim, then transferred to Los Angeles at The Next Stage. Two of his historical dramas have been produced. "Newspaper on Trial" relates the story of John Peter Zenger put on trial for libel in the Colony of New York in 1735; the not-guilty verdict paved the way for freedom of the press when the Colonies became the United States. Produced by Stages Theatre in Fullerton, California. "Goat" concerns the novelist Virginia Woolf and what might have happened if a psychologist had chanced to knock on her door as she was about to commit suicide. Produced by the Elite Theatre in Oxnard, California.
