Synopsis

What if Romeo and Juliet didn’t know that their families hated each other? In this play, kindergartners Rachel and Athena come from warring cultures but don’t know it. At age five, their families are on a mission: to get the girls to stop playing and start hating. A combination of youthful misunderstanding and their determination to stay friends throws their mothers and uncles off balance, while a combination of humor and odd logic make a strong, yet easily digested statement about unfounded prejudice.
