As they rehearse Romeo and Juliet, Antony and Cleopatra, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the real life drama equals and sometimes parallels that of Shakespeare’s scenes. Costume issues, recalcitrant actors, love triangles, and break ups are hurdles the kids must overcome in a fast paced, farcical style. Finally, in the epilogue, they come together as an ensemble. Informative, funny, and full of authentic, original characters as well as some of Shakespeare’s most loved characters, this show proves the adage: “All’s well that ends well.” |
