He hires director Jacqueline Quiche and writer Helga Schnitzel to come up with a movie in a week. The film is “The Wizard of Weird” and it takes place while Dorothy and Toto are trying to make their way to the Emerald City to see the Wizard. But the story is wrong from the beginning. Instead of the usual Oz characters, Dorothy and her talking dog,Toto, take a wrong turn on the Yellow Brick Road and meet characters from Shakespeare, such as Romeo and Juliet, Nick Bottom, Caliban, Hamlet, Macbeth, Banquo, and others. Even the Baird himself makes an appearance. A very funny combination of Shakespeare, L. Frank Baum and Hollywood. |
