Strangely enough, some of the students planning to audition seem to think their lives run all too parallel to the characters in the show . . . or . . . do they? When popular jock, Zack, finally sees the girl he can't forget . . . she can't remember! His coach finally admits that he always wanted to dance! Jeannie, the songwriter, wants to put her own songs into the show, but nobody likes them! Perennial musical "stars," Ashley and Tyrone, think they'll get the leading roles, but after everyone's high-jinks to stop them, will the show actually go on? Folks who know the original will enjoy the outrageous parody and plot gouges, and those who haven't seen the movie will still be able to enjoy and follow the action. |
