Synopsis

Martha is working her first shift as a volunteer for a teen help line when a potential suicide victim calls in. The boy's depression springs from his father's death and his mother's hasty marriage to his uncle. Yes, Martha's very first call is from Hamlet. Combining Shakespeare and modern language, this duet offers both comic and dramatic opportunities for its actors. It also drives home the point that across the years, the conflicts and emotions facing human beings are universal.
