Along the way they meet up with Semta, a Balinese monkey in a tutu, who’s a fugitive from a 5th Avenue penthouse. After they’re almost nabbed by an Animal Control Officer; grabbed by a boy who wants Semta as a pet; and eaten by a really big alligator who lives in the sewers, the trio finally make it to the circus, only to discover that the circus is not what they thought it was. But, with the help of Kaneonuskatew - Katie, for short - a Native American (Cree) Grizzly Bear, who Shape Shifts into a tiger, they escape from the circus and head for a ship called ‘Returning Ark’ that’s going around the world taking animals back to where they came from, back to their homes, which, as Ozzie says, “Is the best plan of all.” Tours with five. |
