| | | As an infant, Michael Fountain was found shivering in a field outside Benton Harbor, Michigan. A map sewn to his clothing claimed to show the way to Pellucidar at the Earth's core. An inoculation by a beatnik doctor in the Ozarks triggered the genetic mutations that would make Mr. Fountain an enemy of society. A series of menial jobs followed, at least one involving barrels of human excrement; education at Aquinas College led to work as a psychiatric aide and inner city teacher. Always cutting edge, Mr. Fountain's target audience will not even be born until the year 2043. He now teaches the "Big Picture" somewhere in Michigan. He and his wife Bridget run an after-hours blues club and petting zoo in Kalamazoo. | |
