Eddie Cope
Eddie Cope was a Houston-based playwright and journalist with more than 30 plays in his portfolio. During World War II, while stationed in North Africa and Italy, he wrote film documentaries and was awarded a War Department Commendation. After the war, he studied journalism and playwriting at the University of Texas and continued his education at the American Theater Wing in New York. His plays have been produced across the country, and four have been staged overseas.
