His one-act play Commercials has been produced over 250 times. Interview Triptych received an off-off-Broadway production at the America Theatre of Actors (NY), and "Listening for Father's Voice," an autobiographical essay published in North Dakota Quarterly, was cited in the annual Best American Essays.
