Who doesn't love a good vampire flick? And who doesn't love their electronic gadgets? Put them both into one play and you get two obsessions for the price of one! The hit TV show Viking Vampires follows the love story of Torger and Hallvor-they live and love eternally! In 'real life,' a high school student named Erica decides to share that same eternal love with Roderick, a classmate who's barely interested enough to look up from his computer screen. And when he does, he notices her best friend! Throw in a cooking show where poor taste rules, a wacky family picnic, and an internet cafe where speaking out loud is virtually forbidden, and you've got a comedy to 'obsess' your cast, crew and audience!

Added to the chaos are four out of work actors who want to perform excerpts from Shakespeare, a spoiled brat, the owner of an exotic pet store and his two Peruvian gutter rats named Elvis and Priscilla, and a variety of unsuspecting customers. Pandemonium reigns as Shakespeare meets really bad food.

   About Brooklyn Publishers
Brooklyn Publishers has been a strong source of comedy and dramatic plays for high school, middle school, and youth theatre for over a decade. Our reputation for powerful, well-written, yet easy-to-produce stage plays has grown each year.

In addition to our many quality full length and one act plays, we offer the largest selection of ten minute plays and theatre books on the market. Our plays have won countless contests and awards and have been recognized for their dynamic plot twists, multi-dimensional characters, and overall strong writing.

Anyone conducting a school drama program realizes the fine line involving the selection of plays to produce. On the one hand, it must be a show that sparks the attention of your students. In today's extra-curricular-friendly schools, there will always be competition for your actors' time and dedication. On the other hand, no teacher wants to produce a 1st-rate show, then face outraged parents, teachers, or administration because of language or content. That's why we provide powerful, cutting-edge scripts that will thrill students and please adults.

Whether you're seeking plays for stage production or drama competition, you've come to the right place to fulfill all your dramatic needs. If you desire play recommendations, we're happy to help you find the perfect work for your school. Our entire staff looks forward to helping you and your drama program have the best year ever.
